Stress Management & Mindfulness Workshop for Childhood Educators

Taking care of yourself is essential to reach your full potential and aside from that, it helps you better tackle life’s challenges and responsibilities. For this reason, we created our Stress Relief workshops for Early Childhood Educators(ECE). We have a skilled team of professionals – Lovely Lyn and Kelley Mercado – both with over 10 years of experience in daycare centers and business wellness respectively. Our full-day sessions you will enjoy an array of  mindfulness practices, yoga poses and breathing techniques that will help the ECE feel calm and confident while facing any challenging situation. By participating in these workshops, you are sure that you will more prepared than ever to handle any situation professionally at work.

Programs

Our weekly yoga classes for children offer an exciting, engaging way to help boost confidence and foster social skills. Classrooms are filled with exploration, imagination, laughter and learning. Through mindfulness activities and sensory awareness tools, children learn how to tap into the power of their bodies and find relaxation even in an environment of playfulness. Yoga postures encourage creative movement while partner work builds relationships among classmates. At Bala-yogini we provide different themed classes that offer progressive learning opportunities so that children can benefit from the full range of yoga principles in a fun atmosphere!

Instructor led classes for ages 5 to 8 and and 8 to 12 years of age.

At Bala Yogini our instructors are class 3 Yoga certified. We teach mindfulness, flexibility, strength, body awareness and breathing techniques. Our classes are 90 minutes long 2 times per week for 10 classes.
